Notice to all householders

Waste Management (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations 2005

Due to the introduction of the new Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2005 you can now bring all your electrical household equipment free of charge to Mulleady’s Recycling Facility Drumlish (043-3324128) from the 13th August 2005 onwards.

Waste Electrical and Electronic equipment (WEEE) includes:
Fridges, Freezers, dishwashers, cookers, washing machines, tumble dryers, microwaves, small electrical appliances, Televisions, video recorders, IT and Telecommunications equipment, electrical toys, Sports Equipment, lighting equipment, power tools and medical devices.

These Items can be brought to:
Mulleady’s Recycling Facility Drumlish (043-3324128)
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Saturday 9am to 4pm.

Notice To All Electrical Product Retailers & Distributors

Waste Management (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations 2005

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2005 require, that by 13th August 2005 all retailers or distributors of electrical and electronic equipment such as Household appliances, IT equipment, Lighting, Electric toys and Power tools etc. located within County Longford, who intend to transport or store household WEEE in accordance with S.I. 340 of 2005 apply for registration to Longford County Council.
